Larry played golf for the University of Tennessee, and after completing his studies choose a career in the banking industry, which lasted thirty years.After his first retirement, Larry enrolled in the PGA Professional Training Program. He completed his Class A in October 1999. Larry accepted a position at the Country Club of the South in Alpharetta, Georgia.
In May, 2000, Larry was named the Head Golf Professional.
Larry retired from the golf profession in March 2005 and moved to Mooresburg, TN, not far from where he grew up Grainger County, TN.
Larry didn't’ stay retired long. "Clinchview Golf Club was a perfect fit to get back in the golf business," he said. "I missed the fellowship of the members and the relationships that are developed in the local communities.”

Adults ----$35.00 for 45 minutes
Clinics----minimum 5 people--$15.00 per person for 60 minutes.

Larry has been around golf his entire life. His dad, James Mills, was a Golf Professional, and his brother, Michael, has been the golf coach at Morristown East High School for twenty nine years.
